HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Hi, thanks for popping by – I’m Monica! I’ve always had a lifelong love for the unique and the uncommon, whether it’s art, antique treasures, or haute couture fashion. I’ve never been one to follow the crowd – you could say I’ve always had a rebellious streak (yes, I'm that black swan!).
After university, life had me hopping from one rental to another for 15 years. With ever-changing spaces and tight budgets, I discovered the magic of statement pieces. A single quirky accessory or bold décor item could breathe life into even the most basic of rooms
When I finally settled into a place of my own, I realised something: it's not about trying to make everything perfect, it’s the little things that make a space feel personal – a statement lamp, a quirky vase, or something unexpected that catches your eye. It wasn’t about redecorating the whole house, just adding touches that felt like me. Whether it’s a cosy studio or a grand castle, a few bold pieces can bring personality to any space - one that feels like yours.
And so, in the wonderfully weird year of 2020, from the tiny corner of my spare bedroom, I set out to share this belief with the world. Punk & Poodle was born – a celebration of the bold, the different, and the extraordinary.
Punk & Poodle isn’t just about home décor. It’s about helping people express their individuality in the most joyful, unapologetic way. It’s about those little details that make you smile every time you walk through the door – and celebrating that your style doesn’t need to fit anyone’s rules.

Now rolling into its fourth year, Punk & Poodle has come a long way from that magical day our first pallet of treasures arrived (cue happy dances in the hallway).
Since then, we’ve grown and added even more fabulousness to our shelves – now proudly curating pieces from over 50 unique suppliers across the UK and Europe.
Our incredible community of customers continues to grow too. Your kind words and glowing reviews remind us exactly why we do what we do – fuelling our passion to keep pushing boundaries and uncovering even more quirky, beautiful things.
Based at Dawes Farm near Horsham, tucked away in the rolling hills of the picturesque West Sussex North Downs, our HQ is our creative playground. We think of it as our little atelier – part office, part warehouse, and entirely filled with ideas, ribbon, and rebellion.

It's all in the name
The name Punk & Poodle captures the spirit at the heart of the brand — a balance of elegance and edge, and a nod to a lifelong love of dogs inspired by the founder’s muse, Ballet the Cocker Spaniel. The Poodle represents sophistication, confidence, and a flair for the dramatic, while the Punk embodies rebellion, creativity, and individuality.
Together, they reflect a design philosophy that celebrates contrast: refined yet daring, polished yet playful. From statement décor to curious details, Punk & Poodle champions the extraordinary, the characterful, and the beautifully bold — because life’s far too fabulous to blend in.
